Bachelor of Science in Program Management

 

Program Management - ERSEA

The Bachelor of Science in Program Management/ERSEA (BSPM/E) program is designed for the working professional employed in a Head Start organization.

 

The required course of study is designed to enable graduates to deal effectively with an increasingly complex Head Start environment.  The program stresses skill development in the areas of eligibility, recruitment, enrollment and attendance and the utilization of management, decision-making, quantitative analysis and research findings.

 

This undergraduate degree program has a 54-credit required course of study: 33 credits are allocated to the Bachelor of Science in Program Management/ERSEA Major, 18 credits to program design and management coursework, and 3 credits to the integrating courses.  Some courses have prerequisite requirements.

 

In addition to the required course of study, students must satisfy general education and elective requirements to meet the 120 semester-credit minimums required for completion of the degree. Current Head Start employment is required.

(Note: All courses are 40 clock hours, 3 credits) *For flexibility in scheduling, campus are scheduled in 12 states.  Students must have completed 60 credits of which 25 credits must be taken at the University.
