This course will focus on
the identification of the
children with known or
suspected health or
developmental problems.
Students will learn how to
define quality screening and
assessment tools that ensure
screenings are made within 45 days and
families receive the appropriate referrals.
Examination of program
systems for development and
behavioral screenings and
how a program uses parent
engagement to ensure
culturally sensitive,
sensory screening are
taught.
