First: Preparing for and Managing Communicable Diseases

This conference is designed will focus
on helping staff understand the cause of
childhood injuries and plan steps to
more effectively prevent and manage
children's injuries in Head Start, at
home and in the community. The
conference will help develop
participants skills in setting up and
maintaining safe environments and
promoting safe behaviors for children
and adults. It is designed to
develop staff's and parent's skills so
they can reduce the number and severity
of childhood injuries and keep children
and families healthier and happier.
