Defining Quality

This 2 day course
provides the key knowledge and promotes the key skills related to
understanding and identifying community needs in order to succeed in
an increasingly complex, changing environment. The course stresses
the need for Head Start administrative and managerial leadership to
maintain a holistic, integrated approach by thinking about the
entire process as well as the individual steps. The course focuses
on program goals, objectives, strategies, area plans, and
collaboration and partnership agreements, and how to use the
strength and resources of Head Start team members-the governing
body, the Policy Committee/Policy Council, program and agency staff,
community partners, and alliances. Students will review
operations and program implementation for conformity and regulatory
requirements
