HS University's
About Health

HS University's Health and Safety Division is designed to help programs learn how to teach parents  the importance of early identification of health problems. Our courses focus on best practice and procedures of handling health and safety issues in Head Start.  All children receive examinations which include vision, hearing, immunizations and dental exam.  Having systems in place to monitor and manage these services are crucial for follow-up and development.  Our courses ensure programs design policies and procedures that meet both federal and state regulations as well as help programs monitor and follow-up on identified problems.
