HS
University's facilities training division is designed to help programs produce a quality
Head Start facility, that provides a physical environment responsive both to the
needs of the children and families served and to the needs of staff, volunteers,
and community agencies that share space with Head Start. Quality facilities can
help programs achieve Head Start's goals of promoting children's social
competence, providing opportunities for parent involvement, and fostering family
self-sufficiency

Our Facilities Management Training Program
is training program that is aimed specifically at Head Start Managers
working across Facilities Management services. The Facilities Management
training is designed specifically for the development of managerial
skills to assist individuals in acquiring new techniques and styles to
improve the way that they personally manage the services and the way
that Facilities based services are developed within their Head Start.
Our trainings are delivered on a modular basis with a number of
theoretical input sessions. Our trainings also involves work-placed
projects for both individual and peer group activity. The end product of
this training is that more rounded and developed Facilities Managers
emerge who will be able to apply themselves professionally across a wide
range of issues.
