ERSEA
Credentialed Administrator
(ECA)
program
is designed
for professionals who are responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring
ERSEA regulations in a Head Start environment.
Candidates
enrolled in this program typically have 6
to 12 months experience administering ERSEA systems.
Due to the in-depth nature of the program, candidates
should be knowledgeable about ERSEA and understand ERSEA policies and
requirements in accordance to
the Federal regulations. The ECA Credential program
is designed as a valid and reliable
measure of the candidates ability to design, develop and
implement ERSEA. Candidates of the ECA program will
acquire extensive knowledge of State regulations that
directly impact a program's ability to maintain
compliance. Candidates enrolled in this
Credential program acquire a skill set which consist of
the best practices and procedural method for
implementing ERSEA regulations and handling ERSEA
compliance during a federal review.

Credential Program, candidates must complete the

3. Take your required
exams.

HSU's ERSEA
Credentialed Administrator (ECA) candidates are required to pass
four exams that provide a valid and reliable
measure of regulations proficiency and expertise.
ECA exams are
developed with the input of professionals in the Head Start
system and the exams reflect how Federal regulations and
requirements must be implemented throughout the Head Start
system. The exams are administered by HS University
professionals in locations around the US. Please select
