Conference Description: Join us on October 28-31 for a 4-day event that is designed to give participants comprehensive knowledge to design policies and procedures for the 2024 NEW Performance Standard changes in Family Engagement and ERSEA. This four (4) day event will give you the core skills to develop compliance driven policies and setup NEW procedures to meet the new monitoring and income standards. Students will come away with a NEWLY developed 300 page comprehensive manual packed with the how-to’s and insights to guide you through every step in the changing policies and setting NEW procedure requirements—from deciding if your current written policies and procedures are in compliance as well as how income changes have driven new collection methods. The NEW Proposed Income changes as well as NEW Family Engagement monitoring and outcome changes in the performance standards will be introduced to help participants develop forms and setup NEW collection and monitoring procedures that will identify how to collect data according to NEW RULES. See more information...

Registration Fee includes:
  1. Up to 32 hours of conference or 10 credits

Cancellation fees: Cancellations made after October 20th will be charged $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel, you may send a substitute from your organization or transfer your registration fee to a future course/conference (with a written request to HSU Conference), and we'll waive the cancellation fee. Participants who register but neither attend nor cancel will be liable for their full registration fee.

Who should attend: This conference will benefit all staff responsible for working with families or ERSEA in a Head Start program. Designed for Head Start family workers and ERSEA managers, this conference will also benefit coordinators, specialisits, administrators, teachers, program managers and directors. Teams are encouraged to attend this conference. Any staff that need more information about supporting families in Head Start should attend this conference.
   
Conference Material and Handouts: Your comprehensive conference materials will include copies of the applicable regulations, forms, and exercises that will help to make the materials easier to understand. Each session will be interactive using easy to follow forms and procedures.
