Description: This
conference will look at all facets of the federal review process and how to
setup monitoring and assessment procedures to ensure compliance. It will include
strategic processes that will incorporate annual self-assessments and
monthly/quarterly monitoring procedures. In
this in-depth course you will learn skills and
concepts to establish an assessment or monitoring system. This two day
course will incorporate management systems such as planning, program governance,
communication, and record-keeping. You will develop best practices for setting
up a monitoring process, implementing annual self-assessments, establishing
management task team, and handling conflict during the process.
You will learn what will be required during on-site federal reviews.
You will receive tools for
use in federal reviews. Learn to
meet federal requests by understanding how to utilize and present CA reports,
how to incorporate the protocol questions into assessment and monitoring
processes, and establish written plans and demonstrate report systems.

understanding the quantity and quality data that you collect in fulfilling
multiple reporting requirements,
keeping
the process of tracking the quantity and quality data manageable,
collecting
data early and often,

This course is designed for all staff. It is most beneficial to Head Start
management and staff monitoring and assessing the program.
