Course Description: This course is specifically designed to help new and experience HSFIS users with the in-depth knowledge to enter, track and report on family information.  At the end of the training, each participant should have the knowledge or skills to do the following: Hands-on experience using HSFIS by entering HSFIS forms, track recruitment and enrollment of Head Start families, generate system and Ad-HOC reports within HSFIS, generate letters and labels within HSFIS. It will focus on skills agencies need to manage the HSFIS system.  Participants will learn how to track enrollment information such as dental follow-ups, disabilities services, attendance/CACFP totals, FPA goals and services, home visits, in kind management and much more. It will also cover using the HSFIS system to monitor and report federal and state requirements such as PIR, monthly enrollment.  You will also learn how to customize HSFIS to meet your program requirement. This course will cover HSFIS Basic and Advanced.
