Description:
This course
is designed for staff new to ERSEA. It will help
staff understand the eligibility requirement as well as
enrollment of children and families in the program.
It will also help staff to understand the requirements
for attendance. Students attending this course
will be given a brief overview of ERSEA and what is
required in a federal review/audit. Prerequisites: None
Learning Objectives: Upon
completion of this course, you will:
· Understand
ERSEA and how it relates to the new Protocol
· Understand
how to use CA data in recruitment, eligibility, and
selection
· Understand
eligibility requirements such as income
verification, age requirements and public assistance
· Be
able to monitor attendance and understand how to
calculate average daily attendance ADA correctly

course is designed for family workers, intake
management and those staff responsible for
maintaining eligibility requirements.
