Students may cancel 15 or more
business days prior to class to receive a full refund minus a $25 cancellation
fee. If a student cancels 14 or less business days, no refunds will be
given. Classes are held for six or more participants.
HSU Cancellation:
If less than six are registered by
course deadline (Deadlines are 15 business days prior to workshop unless
otherwise specified), HSU reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a
class. HSU decisions to cancel will occur no less than 10 business days
prior to workshop. A full refund will be made if HSU exercises its right to
cancel a class.
Filled Classes:
If
a class is full when a registration is received, a full refund will be given.
Refund Request:
In
order for HSU to expedite your refund, a request for refund form must be
received in the University Registration Office, 15 or more business days before
the class begins or 30 days after a cancellation by HSU. If a request for
refund form is received 14 or less business days before a course; or 31 or more
after a cancellation; students will received a refund credit only!
Refund Payment:
If
payment is made by check, HSU will mail the refund to the Agency. If
payment was made by credit card, HSU will credit the card used for
payment. Check will not be mailed for credit card payments.
Students
that request a refund credit by credit card, should allow up to 3 billing cycle
for credit to appear.
Student
Responsibilities...
No
Shows: Students that do not complete a cancellation request form or
students do not attend a class will forfeit all monies.
Limitations:
Participants
are advised not to purchase non-refundable airline or other non-refundable
travel expenses as HSU will not be responsible for these expenses due to class
cancellations. HSU's liability is limited to the return of the registration
fee only. HSU will in no way be responsible for non-refundable or
non-changeable airline tickets or hotels charges.
